  • We will be completing the clay portion of the project in one evening, and you may come back anytime to paint your beautiful pieces!

Hand-built Woven Baskets!

  • We will build a set of beautiful Stoneware Woven Baskets out of clay slab
  • BYOB if you choose, we will be closed to the public for this event

Hand-built Cheeseboards! As a Christmas gift or revel in the selfishness of keeping it for yourself!

  • We will be using “black Clay” sleek, classy and stunning!
  • All boards will be carved with your unique style
  • Each board will include 2 Wooden cheese knives
  • BYOB if you choose, we will be closed to the public for this event

“Classic Christmas Trees”

  • We will be painting the “my gramma had one of those!” trees
  • Come together for a fun, throw back evening with friends and be the envy of all those left behind, when you showcase your very own “classic tree”
  • BYOB if you choose, we will be closed to the public for this event

L.A.A.S “Lost Arts After School” Program 2018

Wednesdays 4:00pm-5:30pm

Starting September 12 and continuing through June 12th, 2018 (excluding holidays)

In this amazing program kids ages 7+ will learn conventional skills that have been essential in life however have been replaced with modern conveniences.

Last year we learned:

  • Sewing and quilting (kids made their own lap quilt)
  • Woodworking (kids made serving trays)
  • Moccasins (kids made their own pair of leather moccasins)
  • Clocks (kids made their own working clocks)
  • Backpacks (kids made back to school bags out of leather and corduroy)
  • knitting (kids made their own winter hats)

Coming this year:

  • Letter Writing (this will include learning cursive, making paper from scratch, putting together a bound book and they will cover it and decorate it with brown paper bags)
  • Cooking (basic sauces, soups, healthy eating, setting a table, waiting tables and will prepare a gourmet meal for parents)
  • Tying a tie
  • Ironing with and without starch
  • Sewing on a button
  • Soap making
  • Cross stitching
  • Wood whittling
  • Chopping wood
  • Making a fire
  • Cooking on an open fire
  • Gardening
  • Mapping with paper maps

The program is $15 per week/per child and is paid weekly.
